I'm attempting to learn French (though finding I know quite a bit just from being snarky and shouting EXCUSEZ-MOI!! lots

) as I shall be visiting Paris in January and I will most likely need to learn to ask for directions (hah, no chance, I will get a map and I have excellent direction skills anyway) though may need to learn how to order crossiants and possibly tea/coffee repeatedly as it might be cold/rainy.
I'm attempting to learn French via the BBC website which seems quite good actually! I'm making flash cards and trying to draw things literally so I can remember things like left (a gauche) and right (a droite) though not sure how I'm going to match up something that sounds totally different to what my brain says the text is.
Just remember to say Madame/Monsieur more often than I ever would in English...
Those are great !
Thank you for producing wonderful photographs!
